Do not get fooled by the fancy pictures that are displayed here. I have owned these chairs (and the table) for several months. The chairs are very low quality, and extremely flimsy. I have two boys, an I am just not comfortable with them sitting on them for the fear of falling down. 2 days ago, my 8 year old son got up, and the chair fell backwards and broke. Yes, thank god my son did not fall with it. What a horrible quality. I am going to call a,Avon and ask them to se what they can do about this purchase, even though I have owned these for about six months. When you buy a dining table and 4 chairs for about 500 dollars, you expect slightly better quality. Amazon, take the vendor out of your network, these chairs are a risk to the people who use it. The other chairs that have not broken have already started moving around the joints. Both me and my wife are of average height and weight, so it is not that we are subjecting these chairs to heavy loads.
